Mosaic Creations is based in Kalaru, on the beautiful Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Here at Mosaic Creations we make quality Mosaic art in all shapes and sizes. Mosaic Creations art can be displayed interior or exterior where ever there is a space. We use excellent quality materials suitable for most weather conditions.
5 years ago my love of Mosaic Art had me learning and trying all different Mosaic techniques. I mainly focus on the direct method as I enjoy placing each individual piece onto my creations; each piece has its place no matter what shape or size, even though this can be extremely challenging at times.
I take inspiration from nature, photos, books, patterns etc. I really enjoy when a client describes what they want and I take that and create their own unique personal Mosaic Creation.
All Mosaic Creations are unique this starts with the timber paling frame and how its weathered, tile shapes and colours, design, right down to the grout colour (all grout colours vary) nothing is ever exactly the same, Every piece is unique.
I enjoy collecting old crockery, tiles, mirror, rocks, and pebbles, glass and any other useful material that could go into one of my Mosaic Creations.
I often visit the local tips and recycle centres to use other peoples trash and turn it into Mosaic Creations treasure.
I use good quality fibro cement sheeting sealed with a sealer, quality adhesive for tiles, neutral clear silicon (non corrosive)and for mirror creations Davco quality grout and grout sealer.
Tile sizes range from 2.0cm up to 30 x 30cm tiles. Our creations can be made to your specifications.
